Tincture Making

  • Oherbals 1903 East Pratt Street Baltimore, MD, 21231 United States (map)

Tinctures are preparations made by using alcohol to extract and preserve plant medicine. Join clinical and community herbalist Olivia Fite for this exciting hands-on day in the apothecary where we will taste & talk tinctures. Tincture making can be both an art and a science, as there are actually two different methods used. We will go over both, demystifying the science (and math) of the weights & volume method. Participants will go home with detailed instructions and an herb of their choice to start making your own tinctures.

Registration & Pricing: To register for the entire series or for individual classes, please email your request to Olivia, Indoor class sizes are limited to 10 participants. Priority will be given to those who sign up for the entire series.
